NTT Communications Awarded Best Cloud-Based Service
and Best Managed Services Provider
at Telecom Asia Awards 2014

TOKYO, JAPAN -- NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE: NTT) Group, announced today that it received the 2014 Best Cloud-Based Service and The Best Managed Services Provider awards from the Telecom Asia Group, the largest telecom publishing group in Asia, during a gala ceremony in Jakarta on May 7.

The Best Cloud-Based Service award recognizes the outstanding performance, high user evaluation and advanced technology of NTT Com’s Enterprise Cloud service. As the first cloud service to deploy network virtualization technology, it earned especially high marks for innovation.

NTT Com is a Leader in the datacenter and hosted cloud services market. The provider has set Global Cloud Vision (GCV) for the enterprise segment which it will increase its revenue and profits through providing total ICT outsourcing to enterprise customers, leveraging its strength in network, datacenter footprints and taking advantage of customer’s transition to cloud-based ICT services. Global Management One, a comprehensive portfolio of managed services, earned NTT Com the 2014 award for Best Managed Services Provider. Global Management One provides remote monitoring and management services for a wide spectrum of ICT services, including WAN and LAN, cloud infrastructure, databases, middleware and core business applications, as well as end-user compute services.

The 17th annual Telecom Asia Awards were presented to carriers and vendors operating in Asia. Telecom Asia Group formed a panel of telecommunications experts to select winners in 13 categories based on market leadership, application of new technologies, financial performance, corporate governance and other factors.

NTT Com also was named Best International Wholesale Carrier in 2011 and both Best Asian Telecom Carrier and Best Cloud-Based Service in 2013.
