NTT Com Expanding Presence in Thailand
TOKYO, JAPAN - NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today that its subsidiary NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will be opening a branch office in Ayutthaya, Thailand on September 30. The new Ayutthaya Branch will be the company’s third branch office and will provide multinational companies in Thailand with ICT solutions including services such as network, data center and security, system integration and Internet access service
Situated 70 km north of Bangkok, Ayutthaya had prospered as a capital city in previous times, and since the 1990’s has launched a large-scale industrial estate and developed as an industrial district to attract many companies. Over 500 Japanese and other multinational companies, including electronics and automotive manufacturers, are currently located in the region.
The addition of the Ayutthaya Branch expands NTT Com’s network of subsidiaries and offices to 73 cities in 29 countries/regions.
"The launch of the new Ayutthaya branch office will enable NTT Com to access within 30 minutes neighboring industrial estates such as one of Thailand’s biggest, Rojana Industrial Park, and Hi-Tech Industrial Estate, where over sixty percent of the settled companies are from Japan, as well as Thailand’s first industrial estate, Nava Nakorn," said Tsuyoshi Kawashima, Ayutthaya Branch manager and the concurrent president of NTT Communications (Thailand), "NTT Com expects enhanced support and the immediate dispatch of engineers in case of trouble at the industrial estates."
