About Oriental Land Co., Ltd.
Oriental Land Co., Ltd. was established in 1960 with a view to contributing to the nation’s culture, health and welfare by building on reclaimed land the greatest leisure facility in Asia. This plan came into fruition in the form of Tokyo Disneyland Park, the opening of which Oriental Land celebrated in 1983, 23 years after the founding of the company. Since then, we have also developed the area around the Park in what today is known as Tokyo Disney Resort. Within Tokyo Disney Resort, Oriental Land and its group companies currently operate Tokyo Disneyland Park, Tokyo DisneySea Park, three Disney Hotels (Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, Disney Ambassador Hotel), the shopping and cinema complex Ikspiari, and Cirque du Soleil Theatre Tokyo.
