Can I send SMS to other carriers?

No. You can send SMS only to DOCOMO lines.

Can I receive SMS?

You cannot receive SMS from your client's handset. It is send-only.

What is the difference between control SMS and text SMS?

Control SMS contains a control statement used to activate an app or device. Even if the control SMS is received, it is not displayed on a smartphone or feature phone.
Text SMS is used to send messages.

What is the maximum number of characters that can be sent via SMS?

It is 70 characters per message. If you are using the concatenated SMS service, up to 660 characters (10 messages) can be sent per request.

• Communications charges are incurred for the number of SMS messages split and sent.

Can I send SMS overseas?

With support for international roaming, you can use this service at the same charges as in Japan in the roaming area.

• The recipient's mobile phone must be subscribing to WORLD WING. The mobile phone also needs to support international roaming. Please note that SMS messages may not be sent due to the radio wave environment or overseas operator's circumstances.
